I think we could pull it off, if we at the same time increase our own domestic drilling (including the 1% of the scared wildness in question in Alaska). However, it would take years and years to do this--definately longer than it will take for terrorists to fatally disrupt our country.

These are definitely trying times, and I too am guilty of saying things i later wish I hadn't.
