Actually, I assumed as much, and realize my post was a bit oversimplified. My point is that as a whole, the political views of Texans and New Yorkers are quite a bit different. At the risk of oversimplifying again, New Yorkers who now live in Texas may do so because the folks there more closely reflect their political and cultural views, and visa versa. But for the life of me, I can't see how anyone could seriously consider rooting for the Cowboys. But that's for another evening. Gotta go.
