I didn't say that I find it scary. It's inclusive of all religions at least if exclusive of non-religious people. It's an improvement on the UK etc. I said I liked the US for this. Canada also got rid of the British flag and put a maple leaf on the flag, that's good. Australia still has the Union flag in the corner.

Purposely planning to kill defenseless civilians trapped in vertical coffins is a 'little' different from your example don't you think ?

Bombing Japan is just the same but was justified by savings in the lives of American (and Japanese) soldiers not killed. These terrorists probably think that if they can lift the blockade on Iraq this way they will be justified too. They are misguided in our viewpoint in thinking that will happen or that that is America's fault, but that is how they think.
