Memory Cards at Costco

I agree that things are not looking too good, except that the SanDisk logo is quite prominent at the local Costco store.

I'll try to check again in a week or two to get some idea how well the cards are selling at these bargain prices (as you said, for the consumer).
One of the questions on my mind for some time has been how much it costs SanDisk to produce a CF card, 64 MB for example. I have no idea.

Even if there is a loss on each card sold, I suppose that beats having them remain unsold.
If it's any consolation, the SimpleTech cards are selling for the same price as the SanDisk cards, so SimpleTech must be experiencing the same pain as SanDisk.
