Tom, you must understand the term "hate" in terms of "obligates us despise and resist the wicked at all costs". in view of the aphorism "that those who are kind to the cruel end up being cruel to the kind. . "

As the sage Rabbi stated: "Hatred is a valid emotion -an appropriate response - when directed at the truly evil: those who have gone beyond the pale of human decency by committing acts which unweave the basic fabric of civilized living.", I agree with him that "there is a point of no return for the mass-murderers of this world", all this with the "guard" that "The Talmud certainly teaches that the true object of proper hatred is the sin, not the sinner, whose life must be respected and whose repentance effected.". That last sentence is where the major difference between Bin Laden "hatred" and mine resides.
