I edited that just for you <gg>

The "back to school" buying rally was no more
this time we still love our computers still ,
don't we ? We want our X-Box and and windows XP?

And the replacement cycle for corps for boxes
has to kick in at some point next year ? Yet MSFT was
getting shook around friday , but it has been such a
great trader lately .

No matter how bad things get , on any given day there
are tops and bottoms , and trades in between. My only
regret on friday is I didn't buy more bottoms for the
bounces...

Even amidst any gloom there are always places to make
trades long or short ...but some companies in this envirionment will turn out to be GTZ's....

You were short CCMP from long before , weren't you Paul?
That was a totally stubborn one ...

MTON reaffirmed with ADSK last week , and got some decent
bounces ....we see almost every one of these just fall back
though...will be an interesting week coming up with warnings
affirmations coming from every angle .

caught GNSS for a tremendous squeeze on it's reaffirming
after hours ...just have to be ready and fast.

Glad to hear your family is safe my friend. I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who was in Manhattan for a job interview with GE the morning of the attack after being laid off by SSB about 3 1/2 weeks. He was shuttling between Miami and New York the last few months as He was a trader of derivatives mosty in the investment banking department of SSB. He most probably would have been in tower one if He had not been let go by SSB after being transferred there from Citigroup about 6 months ago. GE is snapping up many of the young guns being let go by the large brokerage houses now. He's coming up from Miami for a barbecue and pool party here later with a few other friends. Party is a spur of the moment deal so need to make a few calls and clean My pool. After dinner Him and I are going to vent some of our anger playing tennis while the kids and women stay here, ttyl Paul.
