Perhaps FA should turn out a special edition. On second thought,not a good idea.

I would be happy to see FA do it but I would hope to see it done elsewhere, as well. One of the more interesting aspects of press coverage to date is the absence of discussions of the relations between economic interests and foreign policy. Much discussion of cultural, religious, and purely political aspects; little of economic issue like oil.

I've found, over the years, that's the rule. Strangely enough, at least to me, the one place I read articles which try to connect the two is in The Wall Street Journal (not its op ed pages, to repeat myself).
