Peter, news out on your pick RPC-t: Revenue Properties declares special dividend Mon 24 Sept 2001 News Release Mr. Paul Campbell reports Revenue Properties Company's board of directors has declared a special dividend of $1.50 (Canadian) per common share on the issued and outstanding common shares of RPC, such dividend to be payable on Oct. 22, 2001, to shareholders of record as at the close of business on Oct. 18, 2001. This special dividend is in addition to the second dividend for the year 2001 of six Canadian cents per common share announced on Sept. 3, 2001. The board of directors resolved to declare and pay this special dividend so that common shareholders receive directly a substantial portion of the cash realized by RPC from its recent divestitures. As a result of the payment of this special dividend, the conversion price for each of RPC's three series of convertible subordinated debentures will be adjusted as provided for in their respective trust indentures. The actual quantum of conversion price adjustment will be calculated immediately following the record date. In addition, the acquisition of the balance of Prairie Mall, Grande Prairie, Alta., has closed.
