Hmmm.... well, if you're going to stir the pot, you might avoid using the same pot that Brown is obviously smoking, as an ingredient... :0)

Had the US stayed out of WWI, It's highly likely the Allies would have been bled dry to the point where France would have fallen and Britain eventually isolated or defeated by Germany. Certainly, Britain's interest in the middle east would have remained Turkish.

And the Austro-Hungarian empire, with the Germans, would have easily defeated a divided Russia and control that nation as well.

So we wouldn't have been facing the Soviets, but the US would have CERTAINLY been forced to face off against the Kaiser and their rising imperial power.

It's an interesting plot for a "what if" timeline distortion Sci-Fi novel.... And indicative of how little alterations in history, can result in BIG CHANGES.

So much for the theory of having the US "mind its own business".
