Louis - Big rally coming, at least to start, which I expect is somewhat related to the massive liquidations this morning in the oil market. Oil was down $3 a barrel at one point, and I haven't seen that since the Gulf War ended.

Lower energy prices have long been cited as part of the tonic required to revive the western economies. If oil continues downward I think we can assume this was not just a large trading position being closed. It would signify collusion at the highest levels to drive down crude.

Pretty tricky trying to trade anything these days when entire countries and blocs of countries are in the pits beside you with their special agendas.

About the Spoo, this rally could be the proverbial gift horse, but you also have to consider the foregoing commentary. We know we'll be right in the end and that even manipulated markets gravitate to their true values eventually, but trading against the big dogs in the meantime can be extremely hazardous to your wealth.

One thing's for sure, this isn't boring any more......
