Moi aussi, book_touter, put me down on your list here, i've just read quite a number of sensible comments by these people and you have sufficiently assured me of your incapacity to judge of what exactly 'soft on terrorists' consists, in your own mind ...... personally i should think being 'soft on terrorists' might perhaps consist in part of the thumping of holy books in an attempt to turn Christendom against Islam and thusly stimulate terrorist recruiting drives, which certainly would - i grant you wholeheartedly - improve the market for bullion, however the accompanying cost to humanity would be extreme ... no, a little thought is in order imho, a careful assessment of who precisely is the enemy, and of who precisely are our friends regardless of whether they agree on every last detail of technique, so jot me down on that list ... tia Btw, i highly doubt that Dubya would approve of you interpreting his words in this manner But hey, ¡be the first in your bloc to employ this handy dandy labelling device! - #reply-15016916

Open Post from Dougak to ole49r/gold_tutor and Chatters Let me do the Chatters one first NOT because it is much shorter and much easier to do, but because it will allow me to put forth my views that include why the ole49r/gold_tutor list gathering will make an extremely bad situation worst and be counter productive to the point to accomplish just the opposite of what ole49r/gold_tutor wishes to obtain, that being a safe and strong America. Let it first be upfront that the best source i have of external knowledge by others on how to understand and deal with events that have people interacting with each other is that of Ayn Rand and the man who i forget the name that was to become heir apparent to continue the development and teachings of Objectivism until a rift between them occured causing Ayn Rand to make the decision to terminate contact. Of this i am of the opinion that certain errors in thought that Ayn Rand held were the reason for this situation, and that this man was a correct person to continue her Objectivism eventhought he would have done so later after her death with changes Ayn Rand would not approved of, but that is where her fault i detected long before that event became clear to me and even told me that her choice of this person held a secret from her that she was unwilling, Not unable, to learn of and if so she would have made many changes especially since they were present from the start of her writtings. But thats getting way off topic here except for me to say that 2 or 3 posts here on this GPM thread were linked to her Ayn Rand site, and even as i do as i stated used her writting as a reference type for correctness i know of the faults and i know that the person she substituded for this mentioned above man i forget the name of, with a man name of Perkoff(sic) who is less than a Light-Weight comparied to Ayn Rand to the point of invalid and a false replacement to other man. ok ok enough, but for me to say that Yes i agree with her hard line and using my words here, any person no matter age or sex who tries to deny or take away my freedom as an individual in thoughts and activity i will use force against them as if they are terrorist no different that those who use the plane as missles/bombs into the New York buildings and other places. ok, just trying to make the point that i have and will continue to protect myself from danger with the first line of defense being that i expect my governemnt of the usa down to the local town government of police to have that responsibility to serve and protect its people. Only when the rule of law breaks down and mob rule replaces it will i exercise my right as an individual to protect myself and loved ones(which i have none) from acts of terror in a lawless landscape. A big point i wish to make is that i have not read those 2 or 3 Ayn Rand web site articles by those associated with her official Objectivism because even if Ayn Rand was still alive today and wrote them she would not factor in the reality that the protection of personal freedom in the usa was not placed into effect beause its formation and delivery system was made and implemented by politicians with agenda to get re-elected, not for the protection of individual rights as required. Once again i seem to overflow with words before making my point. A point is that the protection of American citizens has no system in place where everyone's civil rights is protected from this current situation of 9/11 of which terrorist have allocated resources inside the usa to carry out acts of terrorism using methods of mass destruction. Our water air and food is at risk simply because American's politicians did not spend the tax payers money onto this objective but rather spent it in foolish and very much less less important projects to accomplish only an IOU from those who benefited at next re-election time. A simple today's example with the elements i fear are present. A town of 5,000 American citizens has as it water source a single out in the open large body of water collected from a stream and rain fall etc. This town is not connected with nearby towns or cities on their water supply. ok, tomorrow a terrorist goes to a storage locked in the middle of the night and obtains a 55 gallon barrel of a bio-chemical agent and drives to the water source and dumps it in. No police no gate no FBI no security measures since its an unimportant not vital to America's security or economy, so where other drinking water sources has highten security this out of way no-place is not. ok, in a few days its discovered the water source is permanently forever unuseable, not even water grass or flush toilets. Town is crushed, but this type of distaster has happened many times when companies in the usa ignore common sense and dump waste material from a factories output under the protection that they had a corrupt politican(s) pass laws allowing such. But focus on what the town folks do under todays situation. Since their local state and federal governments did not put into place prior safety measures these town folks may not feel that it is up to themselves to do what was not and will not be done in the present and near future. WAIT - Lets flip over to the town next to this town. Its only 5 miles away and has the same structure as this attacked by terrorist town. Yes, lets travel 5 miles to the town that has like that above town only one open drinking water source. No need to identify if that attacted town has sick or dead people from contact with that poisioned water, no, the FEAR will be what counts, and fear now replaced that recent anger. So what will these other samll town 5,000 people do to protect their water source that is in the open like the other? Post police men around it at 5 foot spaces with use of deadly force the order of the days? A terorist would be willing to die as we know so all a terrorist has to do is load up the bio-chemical into a car with its cover removed and drive 85 mph into a firing police person and land into the water. So if that does not work then what other measures to be taken. Here is what i got from reading a Chatters post of today, which may not be accurate but that is not important since i do not believe Chatters understand 1/2 of what he posts since his method is to impress others in areas he has what can be noted as well research knowledge, but the other 1/2 he posts is a ron-ron cut and paste where the words sound very impressive and well thought out and understood, yes, but by Chatters i say no simple because on those few posts of his where he did not do a cut and paste but wrote off the top of his head to express his views through his understanding of the why people do what they do, he failed grossly. So this is whats possible, and what i sense was in a Chatters post of today, which i feel he agrees with as a possible, but i know Chatters has not the depth needed to be responsible in posting this type of information. And this explains why i feel that ole49r/gold_tutor list making is by her pro-American in defense of the usa very true, but in my opinion does not help the terrible situation of false protection the politicans have placed it citizens into in the usa. Back to above example inside the second town next to town that terrorist just destroyed their water supply. This second town cannot protect their water supply as mentioned, and the terrorist person might be a resident in the area and have more barrels of poision and a will to die to deliver it. So what do they do, especially using the ole49r/gold_tutor and Chatters GET TOUGH FOR or AGAINST etc talk. A possible is that mob rule doing their own defense using an offense to find and locate the terrorist. And this might be using today the horrorable mindless and very sad possibility that the town will gather all persons that look like they are of the Middle East. Everyone will be confronted by the locals that have lived there for generations and look American. a.k.a. White Supremicy a.k.a. KKK look & feel and all these Middle East folks no matter their situation, a doctor lawyer teacher are suspect just like ole49r/gold_tutor list'ism and if this happens and if the already in place ready terrorist act especually in the next days or few weeks when the usa attacks them in their homeland/foreign country then what 100 town and cities hit inside a few days anger to fear large scale mobs take over to protect themselves is this possible if so the Japanese in usa of WW II will pale very much so to the point that American looking citizens ask something an unspeakable thought all Middle Eastern people leave America now and don't return might happen if terrorism in America looks like that in Israel but much worst weapons of mass destruction used so i ask ole49r/gold_tutor a question how does you list help or hurt this situation might a better approach to help America be to explore the situation to talk about the enemy hurting us and the enemy looking like from the Middle East and your For or Against sounds like nation against nation as in the usa will destroy any nation soft on terrorism if so they are you saying that all people of this nation leave America??? If things go very bad as i speculated above, then i think it will happen. Let it happen or help it happen can be examined. i hope so once the usa military forced in used in public then the war will continue on American soil and if so what of your list then its effect ??? dougak
