Well.... I've thought msft would see the low 30 area for quite some time. It's really pretty expensive in this market. But overvaluation isn't necessarily a reason for it to fall.

If other stocks rise and msft falls, the index can still hold the lows.

You're right about amat. But there are plenty of stocks well above their 98 lows. (Sebl and merq are over 3.5 times. Symc is 4.5 times. Even jdsu is over 35% above it's 98 low). I don't think all stocks will see their 98 lows. If they do, the index won't hold it's low, cuz there are many below the 98 lows already. Still... I have a feeling that some aren't done going down whether the index holds or not, bwdik?

Too much, IMO. Tech spending has siezed up. No one knows what's next so any level is guesswork.
