WRT metal objects that were capable of being used as weapons, they were confiscated. We were asked to place them in manila envelopes and were told they could be retrieved upon our return trip. I had a small plastic-handled corkscrew confiscated.

FWIW, I thought the security at Providence was more lax than the security at BWI.
