kirby49, news out on your pick MFL-t: Minefinders completes financing Thu 27 Sept 2001 News Release Mr. Mark Bailey reports Minefinders Corporation has closed the third and final tranche of a private placement of up to 1,739,130 units at a price of $1.15 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of a non-transferable share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder to purchase an additional share of the company at a price of $1.40 for a period of two years. The third tranche of 481,898 units raised additional proceeds of $554,182, bringing the number of units issued in the private placement to 1,402,080 for proceeds of $1,612,392. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, working capital and the further exploration of the company's Mexican properties. A finder's fee of 7 per cent of the proceeds of the subscription was paid in cash to a single finder in respect of the third tranche of the private placement.
