Most of them had it, so they didn't get disfigured with smallpox.


There are people who are naturally immune to smallpox. I know that because I'm one of them. I had fourteen smallpox vaccinations in my youth because they were required by law but I never had a reaction to them. I just did a quick search and found nothing about how common that might be.

If you find out where to get such a cow, let us all know. I suspect it will be easier than finding smallpox vaccine.

Jenner, the guy who discovered vaccination, noticed that cowmaids rarely got smallpox. He used the pus from cowpox sores as the first vaccine. It worked. And the rest, as they say, is history.

But I'm sure you knew that.
