How would you be able to evaluate the validity of such proof? What position are you in to be able to make such an assessment? And why do you believe the US desires to kill civilians of another country? If anything the US response so far has been retrained and measured.

Well is it necessary to establish that bin Laden personally directed a specific crime? ... i think not, clearly he has statements out there promoting murder as a campaign technique, and that's enough ... in this country we have as part of the assault section of the criminal code a charge of 'uttering threats', and it is a serious crime, prosecuted with the full force of the law, and carrying stiff penalties .... i think that combined with evidence establishing any communicative link between Al'Qaeda and the perps, bL's fatwa is enough to land him and all his lieutenants in gaol ... certainly enough for me, 'beyond reasonable doubt' ... you do make some fine points, len, in that there is much much more to the story, and that history did not begin on 11 Sept of this year, etc .... but you are a little thin on the provision of solutions, if you don't mind me saying .... cheers 'we'll meet on edges soon' said i proud neath heated brow. ah but i was so much older then i'm younger than that now.
