Jerome, I have no problem with feeding the starving masses. Thus far it hasn't succeeded in avoiding a holocaust against our own country, but, a redoubling of food relief is one way that Afghanis could have the energy and resolve to fight the Taliban...This is true if we can figure out a way to keep it in the hands of those who need it and out of the hands of the Taliban.

Unfortunately Bin Laden and the Taliban aren't our only enemies. Many different peoples secretly harbored some sense of satisfaction that America was getting "some of theirs". The once seemingly invulnerable is no more. There are far more than two wars ongoing. One war is to get people of all walks to return to some sense of humanity on people who are different than they. Good luck on that one!
