The ONLY reason prayer is not allowed in public schools is because of FEDERAL MONEY. Oh, and Congress has no Federal money supporting them? GET REAL!!!! Chris

<<Prayer was perfectly acceptable in school until the federal funds were added.>> and in my little town, as I recall, that's when the Catholic kids were told they were no longer allowed to ride the school bus, as they had up until then. The 'Protestant' Public school and the Catholic school had gotten along fine until then. As I recall the only Bible that was available in the 'Protestant' Public school was the King James version. You know, IMO, the easiest way for Protestants to get their kids to pray in school is to fork it out of their back pockets and put the bricks and morter together to build their own schools. It seems to be so important to them but, uh, well, not quite THAT important I guess. JET
