I did the math. It's been just over 30 years. I have a good buddy who went into ROTC and became a Navy pilot when we were in college during Nam (I'm not implying that he did it to avoid being drafted, of course -- he would have signed up regardless) and he retired recently to fly commercial. I've only ever known one person who went to Canada, and I didn't meet him until the 80's. Lots of my friends served. I've always thought the stereotype of sex crazed druggies running away from service to their country totally mischaracterized my generation. But we're getting way OT. Charles Tutt (TM)
