Very impressive! It looks like SSE-2 proves again that it can vastly increase the performance of applications. It's also nice to see that some developers are taking advantage of it. Despite what some people think, the more popular software suites will eventually come around to including these optimizations. It would be interesting to test and see if the Athlon gets similar performance enhancements, but given the description that you included, it looks like the optimizations were mostly based around SSE-2 and AltiVec. wanna_bmw
