Why don't we hear a few opinions on this for a day or two and review some of the material that has been submitted, then try to forge some consensus.

My two cents: the newmax material doesn't hold a candle to NYT, WP, and WSJ -- all performing high quality professional reporting. The newsmax stuff is fun to read but I learn a lot more spending my time on my Foreign Affairs articles (and I'm really getting behind...).

Think about what tekboy discussed tonight about FA. I agreed with every word. That's where I need to spend my time, not allocating time every day trying to decide the veracity of the latest scoop from newmax -- why bother.

And FYI, I think we here, like Herr Motzart in Amadeus, are suffering from, "too many notes" if you get my drift..
