Perhaps this conversation belongs on the Guerrillas and Kings board rather than the Gorillas and Kings board.

Just a thought,

Paul

You obviously missed the main point. Irish Americans are giving money to the IRA. If they are also giving it to other terrorists, that should be stopped too, but I've never heard of that. Surely you know that the main terrorism is conducted by the IRA?

Do you fund the IRA?

Mq

< The whole problem in Ireland has much less to do with religion than you seem to think > Hahaaahaahaha!!! And Osama is not interested in religion and ensuring the victory of Islam! And pigs might fly. If nobody knew who was a Protestant and who was a Catholic, there wouldn't be much fighting would there.

What a post. I clearly stated that I reject terrorism and you ask if I give money to the IRA. Then you claim that the majority of the terrorism is done by the IRA which might be a fact or might not but you completely fail to acknowledge the role of the Ulster terrorists and once again you full of bean dip regarding the role of religion in this conflict. You don't consider history at all so I suppose you must not be aware of it.

Again I do not approve not would I like most other US folks ever dream of giving money to the IRA. If you didn't get that from my first post there isn't much point in trying have a dialogue with you. You really haven't shown much ability to comprehend the situation. If you really want to know whats going on educate yourself (but leave your bias behind or you'll only absorb what you want to hear).

As this is off topic, that's my last post on this issue on this board.

Joe

The only IRA I fund is my Individual Retirement Account.

Just a comment on last week's market action. There were a lot discussions on TV and the internet on how the markets would do come Monday. I saw a lot of posts suggesting it would be a patriotic statement to buy $200 worth of mutual funds, the hedge funds wouldn't short, and the institutional heads might be buying. Why the market might even be up Monday. Having been through others crashes I didn't believe a word of it. I figured Cat Stevens had a better chance of having a top ten hit last week than the markets being up. As I watched the towers fall I had a good idea of the outcome. My only surprise was that they were down for five straight days. I was thinking down hard two then up one. I was glad Mark Hanes started his show this morning pointing out the hypocritical nature of markets. Also there were a lot of suggestions that it would be a good time to buy. The obvious answer is with what?

Osama's about as "religious" as a cat. Fact is, he's full of nothing but hate, same as any other terrorist. Religion is just an excuse for him to do what turns him on -- killing and terrorizing.
