Venture capitalists baked ventures aiming but not in having these assets for the long term. It was just build, market-blitz and get rid of it. Yes, I think you are at a fundamental truth. The question "what is your exit strategy" was on the top ten list back in '99 as I recall. "Be Kibble" was well received. To be fair, this is their job. But the environment you describe sure made it easier. Too easy it seems. No. No tears for them. Except of course for the guy who finances my next venture. I'll cry buckets for him if that's what it takes -vbg- 'cause that's the name of the game. John.
