OK, sorry. Sure, I am aware of the terrible predicament now facing the US and don't mean to be nasty. But I think it will take more than the waving of millions of little flags and the persistent mouthing of trite expressions to restore the national confidence and prestige.

For a start I would like to hear some important guys talking about the real reasons why the US came to be in this fix and what they propose to do about them. As far as I can see, Ariel Sharon is still calling all the shots and doing as he pleases notwithstanding the fact that his intransigence is one of the reasons behind the "terrorist" attack on the WTC etc.
