PK> "getting a 'by' on the subject of security"... ...well, so is the entire DOJ and DOD {grin} So long as Ashcroft & Rummy stay on the offensive, whining that they need to flush our Bill of Rights down the toilet in order to do their jobs ~ Congress is on the defensive, and cannot begin formal inquiries into: (1) where the hell was our intelligence; and, (2) where the hell was our defense?!! actually, very savvy politically ~ you gotta admire them (!) eventually the bell will toll, though ~ iirc, the Pearl Harbor inquiry was ruthless ! my deux centimes, fwiw and BWDIK ~ I am not in favour of a bailout per se and I consider air transport vital in time of war so: (1) Nationalize the airlines; (2) replace the burger flipper personnel with National Guard (that's what the Guard is for); and, (3) replace civilian FAA with Air Force until we sort it all out, restore confidence / realize security. -Steve PS - GO BULLS !!!
