Hungary firms' mobile PC use seen up 22 pct in 01

BUDAPEST, Sept 24 (Reuters) - The number of mobile
computers used by Hungarian companies with at least 10 employees
is expected to rise by 12,000, or 22 percent, in the rest of the
year to 66,000 units, a survey showed on Monday.
Telecom and information market research and advisory firm
BellResearch prepared the survey this year for the first time
based on the responses of 1,000 firms with at least 10
employees.
Mobile computers include notebooks, laptops, palmtop and
personal digital assistants.
The survey, which said that more than two thirds of
companies do not have mobile computers, added that IBM <IBM.N>,
Compaq <CPQ.N>, Toshiba <6502.T>, Portocom, Dell <DELL.O> and HP
<HWP.N> were the most frequently mentioned brandnames for a
future purchase.
The survey did not mention how many desktop computers
companies use.
