I sure suspected and hoped for this rally. I have fed calls on all accounts that have to cleared by selling today or accounts will be frozen. Haven't done that in 18 months.

LOVE those triple witching Fridays, especially when there is a lot of fear in the market!

Good morning, gentleman.

Was fun, did a KWKie in EVG before breakfast. Sold at 36.64, covered at 36.05. Not bad for a ten minute trade. Kinda bugged me to see it keep dropping, but you never know, do you?

Still holding and watching the paint dry on PENG. (Every time I say that about a stock, it makes a huge move in a day or two..heh heh)

I submit for your attention a little stock called AWRE. I am not making a recommendation, only garnering opinions.

AWRE is a one trick pony teck company, with a product called DSL 'light'. It has a technology which gets you faster bandwidth without the line clogging problems of cable. Its a little more expensive to setup, but once in place is cheaper to run.

They are currently selling for less than book value. They came back onto my radar screen because of unusual volume on Friday, and because of some large insider buys. They have an incredibly huge short interest, given they dropped from eighty bucks or so down to 3 or 4. The short interest is 40 DAYS!

It interests me, in part, because it was my first 'big bet' in the market, and after I broke even at 11 bucks, the bubble blew up to 80 bucks or so.

Anyway, I decided not to throw any money at it, as the future of its product may be in doubt with the death of Napster. (Hi speed needs a 'killer app', and day trading is still a limited market)

FWIW

Good Morning KB,

Nice rally this morning. I'm selling 1/2 of positions into the rally just in case we have not seen the bottom. Have covered all of my Thursdays and Fridays losses so far and raising some cash.

Hope to be 50% invested by the end of the day.

Jim
