"ADULTERY" According to Rabbi Telushkin's interpretation of the OT in his book, Biblical Literacy, a married man having sex with a unmarried woman is permitted and is not considered adultery. Whereas a married man or unmarried man having sex with a married female is adultery. A married woman is considered adulterous, in the OT, no matter who she has sex with, according to Rabbi Telushkin.
