Seems like a stretch? They want to attack anyone who doesn't follow their Islamic belief system. They are holding hostage a young girl for exercising her right to free speech. I don't see how this is much of a stretch. Especially to hear how many people feel we deserved this because we support "the Jews". Unlike you Len, I believe that freedom is something you must fight for to maintain, and isn't a gift from God. It is up to us to maintain our freedom. You can set about populating that utopia you wish to live in, and maybe you can even do it in the USA, but like it or not, the country you live in is being attacked. Not our military, not our political or religious leaders, US, you and me. You could just have easily been a victim. If you were on one of those planes knowing what you know now would you still be so peaceful? Would you be asking those terrorists why they want to kill you and what you should tell your family? These people are not discriminating whether or not you have a copy of the Koran beside your bed, hug trees or have peace symbols painted on your house You know as well as I do these people have spent time in America enjoying the same freedoms we enjoy and they decided we suck and we should die. The time for the Taliban to hand over this guy was months ago. You seem to think that the Taliban are innocent in this whole game. If they were so innocent, why not hand him over to the UN? Why not invite someone else to come and get him long before this showdown? This didn't just start on the 11th. These people are enjoying the support he has provided and many of them are inextricably linked to him. Over 6,000 people are likely dead Len.
