Ann, I like your thinking, but you must remember that you are mostly dealing with a bunch of ornery good ol boys here who want to take things back fifty years or so when things were just like they like em. Joe is one of the few open minded folks here.

Annie, you must remember that JLA is the most bigoted one sided, close minded, air bag here, who has never ever put up a single post of substance, rather just attacks through name calling of anyone who posts anything different than unltra right wing gibberish

“Men are not required to be in combat in this country any longer either.”

That may be true at this moment in time but men are still subject to the draft and can be required to face combat, which women have never had to do.

“The point about abortion is that men could be using their time more wisely than protesting
the personal domain rights of another human being. “

If a man truly believes that abortion is the taking of human life, I cannot think of anything more worth protesting. This is the dilemma both sides face. Pro Choice says abortion is not the taking of human life. Pro-Lifers believe otherwise. Ask yourself what kind of a person, believing that millions of innocent lives were being destroyed would sit by and not protest. I don’t see how a person’s beliefs in this regard have anything to do with the ability to get pregnant.

“You can discuss your opinion with your significant other BUT you are not qualified to vote whether abortion should be legal or illegal.”

O.K. somehow you apparently believe that it is perfectly o.k. to disenfranchise men when it comes to abortion. Where do you find this in the constitution or the Spirit of America?
