let's assume that the return on intel is risk free ( boy that is a stretch ) the pe of 50 with treasury at 4% would imply a growth rate in earning of 48% per year. Let's add risk adjustment given 48% growth and you get 100% growth in earnings per year. Add extra for the steady increase in number of shares. Remmeber that stock repurchase should not count as a decrease in share count for market value calculations since it is a zero-sum game.
Now let's assume that ownership of the intel pc's would go from 20% families to 100% by the end of next quarter and a reasonable assumption that all of those families and corps would be updating all of their processors monthly and I think we are all set
now, care to be more reasonable?
