Art,

Does GSRTF have coverage in Afghanistan and Pakistan? You used the word "virtually", a flag went up.

How does Iridium play into this?

Charlie

Apple laptops in the field is not an idea, it's already happening. CNN has a number of PowerBooks deployed already.

Regardless, I did notice that Globalstar Telecommunications (NASDAQ: GSTRF) got a boost both from the open last Monday and again today. There is a two sided issue with these circumstances, though. While use of the satellite communications technology may be on the increase by military and news gathering organizations, it will be on the decrease from civilian travelers on vacation and international business travelers.

Both Loral (NYSE:LOR) $1.51 and QUALCOMM (NASDAQ:QCOM) $47.60 seem, on the surface, to be priced attractively for the long term investor.
