If the line on GB is ten by betting the Packers to win they would have to win by more then 10 points for it to count for you. If the win by 9 they win the game but don't cover the spread. By betting the skins you are not saying they are going to win but rather they will lose by less then 10. Bookies want the bet evenly split for the 2 teams and then they can just take their cut. They will keep raising the number on GB until even the most die hard fan says they can't cover the spread and start betting for the skins thereby evening out the betting.
