Good post Scott. Add to that the fact that the cell phone infrastructure is weak, and we have something here. I always am amazed that at the times when one most needs a cell phone, the entire network is busy. I've been thru tropical storms in Houston where there is no way get a connection. Last week in Washington I got "network busy" for half of my attempted calls. If cell phones are going to serve in a safety role, we need the infrastructure to be built for peak demand, not normal everyday usage. XI
