The Zionists bought ~6% of the land.

The rest was "awarded" to it by the UN (or was it called the League of Nations at the time?).

The Arab emigration was a result of what they saw coming.... a foreign invasion of Westerners with claims to land based on Biblical beliefs.

The British wanted no parts of it, Kissinger said it was a bad idea.

Even during an immigration and weaponry ban, the Zionists smuggled arms into the Mandate, which would make that illegal by International Law, but as I stated previously, International Law is only applied where we want to get someone, all others ride free.
