Few academics in election systems get really exstatic
on voting, especially not according to simple 50% majority
rules (one definition, adversarial 2-party systems)

Some have talked about consensus rules for much more than
a century, just like the neanderthals thousands of years
earlier.

But I hope you have noticed how I have blessed the
checks and balance system of US, although it includes
simple majority rule at all balanced three levels,
keeping checks on each others.

In my experience, something it takes both A,B,C and D to
understand, not just one or two of them.

P.S. have no time to waste to keep up with the Free Board.
(another aspect of consensus systems, wheen out the BS)

That is, voting habits in 3GPP are interesting, as
is harmonizing common sense with a 2/3 or more
majority or consensus.
(note US senate similar threshold)

Btw, are you or Ben really aware on what an important
issue you have stumbled on in terms of the "Marshall Plan"??

Somehow, from the use of the concept, I do not think so.

Ilmarinen

Or is it just a good joke on who to name a plan according
to, in an adversarial 2-party system??

That is the A, the B, C, and D might follow??

funny world... until one learns the stuff, which depends
on the available media.

CSPAN, upto some limits, is great but takes a lot of time.
