Actually, Jews were a big part of the public and private sector until the 1979 revolution. That is over 30 years after the creation of Israel. Since Israel was the chief U.S. ally in the Middle East, and the since the Revolution was a backlash against the dictator imposed by America, and since Jews have such a long history of treachory in the name of Zionism, it seems logical not to allow these enemies of the state into the government. It is true that they are now restricted in exercising power. Other than that, things look hunky-dory.

Why must Jews in Iran spy for Israel? Why can't they just leave the Iranians alone?
