Well, I believe in free markets, however, these are extraordinary times...we've got to go fight a war with an 'invisible foe', the economy is in trouble, and falling markets (now) will continue to put pressure on the economy, puts more pressure on the markets, etc...the tidy bowl death spiral is well underway.

May not happen, but just the 'threat' postponing short covering will likely cause a pop...prolly why a rally started today, good ole boyz got wind of it...

Any other times you know of when short selling was stopped in a market??
