Dan3,
RE:"More Americans voted for Gore than Bush. A lot of people are still crying over the election."

And Bush got more electoral votes...but who wants to go there, now?...that's the point. Not the news media...not Congress. Just...
We got Bush and he's stuck with the job.
When I talk to people who voted for Gore they are even happy we have Bush instead...I guess they are mad hope he has a happy trigger finger.

RE:"Bush seems to be doing his best to rise to this terrible challenge, but I know that I'd rather have Gore in charge (and even more prefer McCain, as long as I'm "rathering.""

Well that's you're perrogative...but we got Bush...so rather whine constantly about it like Ted, let's see what the Bush team comes up with.
I don't see you complaining about the "cheese fries" the "wild west" so I suspect you're willing to see what happens...
I think that's fair and I think you do too...

We both know this isn't going to be easy...we don't even have a real defined target.

Jim

Dan, what Experience of WAR does GORE possess? And has he ever sent any orders to terminate life? Bush has.

I'm not sure how anyone could improve on Bush's performance in this attack; but there is no question that Gore would have made a mess of it -- I cringe at the thought of having either Clinton or Gore at the helm during a crisis of this proportion. Man, the thought of it is frightening.

I suspect a lot of people who were for Gore now realize you can't vote based on your liberal agenda taken alone. Liberals are clearly inferior at handling foreign policy, and now I believe even many liberals recognize this fact.

Dan, there are many who feel that way. The number of PMs has increased significantly in the last two weeks. We are all making the best of a bad situation...supporting the gov't and the country.
