Right on! First the Koreans landed a "blow" to Qualcomm by selecting WCDMA over CDMA2000 for their 3G networks. Now that WCDMA looks like toast, they are once again trying to land a "blow" by selecting TD-SCDMA. What's next? Korea selects EDGE for 3G? At least with EDGE they won't need to worry about paying Qualcomm any royalties. Too bad they won't have any sales either.

I'll try to make this my last post on the subject. I realize that all this bull shit is part of the ongoing negotiations that Qualcomm has with their Korean and Chinese licensees. It will continue as long as the two sides do business. I think it's best to ignore the whole thing.
