That source seems awfully skewed and full of hyperbole...

For starters, calling the period before WW2 a "very profitable period of neutrality" is a bit of a stretch as we remained in Depression till WW2 lifted us out.

He mixes the criticized actions of the UK's Times in, as if it, too is the US, and likewise with what he calls a 'national European paper.'

Most of the rest is based on the assumptions of what he fears the US will do, rather than what it has done.

The only cogent argument he makes is that we left Afghanistan in a shambles after Russia was defeated, and that point has been made repetitively, in many media reports.
