Now would you say that the clerks in these places should not allow people with those characterstics to enter or even have their guns loaded and ready when these people enter? Those clerks should allow everyone into the store. But if that was a poor storeowner and he was a Korean in LA after Rodney King, he too would have taken added precaution when someone came into his stores. And yes, those who rob 7 – 11s do have similar characteristic and can be bucketed. Usually drugs are related. That’s why LAPD has field units for gang related matters, and they personality type their targets and have been successful. You may agree, if it walks like a duck (crack dealer), sounds like a duck (crack dealer) and it looks like a duck (crack dealer). Then yes Virginia, it’s a duck (crack dealer). Tell me Ratan, if you ran out of gas somewhere and was innocently standing on a a street corner that actually was crack dealer neighborhood in some bad part of town. After standing there 15 minutes and you had between 5 and 10 crack dealers come up to you and asking you if you “wanted to buy crack”. That eleventh man that approached you looking shady at best, would he be a crack dealer or just another innocent person that ran out of gas ?? Just a thought :0) Stan
