Yeah, with mortgage rates soaring, who in their right mind would buy a new home? The manipulation is just unbelievable. Don't they know that they can't keep this market up with their shenanigans?

I'll bet they counted new bomb shelters as new homes. The rats.

I'm certainly not covering just because of one more bogus report.

Somebody musta told the bureaucrat stat folks it's also "patriotic" to cook the books.

RE sales dried up during the Summer around here. Even 6 months ago, houses would get snapped up in a few weeks. Agent friend of ours says his biz was down long before WTC attack. Now it's dead in the water.
