The following comment is all we need to know about that article:

Yeah, like buying Redback in the spring of 2000 wasn't risky?

Freedom also means free and open markets and I certainly hope that the US does not try to limit short sellers or take other similar measures that reduce the freedom of financial markets.

Otherwise we'll end up with markets that resemble Japan's. All the intervention in the world has not helped them...
