I think this is fine, but are Americans in general willing to accept this? For this to work every citizen will have to be fingerprinted as well...

Who said anything about face prints over finger prints? One form of printing over the other is not the issue here... each kind of printing method has its own specific purpose and is used entirely differently... finger printing is a tried and proven law enforcement method for identification by lifting latent finger prints off an object, this has become an incredibly sophisticated technology today... face printing technology is about scanning the crowd and having the technology itself recognize specific facial features of the suspect who may be in that crowd and trying to avoid detection... this new technology is so precise, it will not confuse anyone except for identical twins.....
