I don't trade anymore, Paul -- not since the SEC halted short selling. It ceased to be profitable. As you know, prices no longer go up, not in these dire times.

I now make my living "revising" economic data, before it's released to the public, to ensure that consumer confidence remains high. I enjoy it, because it's creative. The intent of the new Office for the Dissemination of Disinformation (ODD) isn't to reverse the downward slide of stock prices with ODD data, but simply to slow it down. After all, we're realists.

I also work part time for Federal Reserve's Board of Governors, "editing" statistical releases.

Both jobs are volunteer positions, but I sell federal stationery supplies on the side -- anything that isn't stationary, really. I sell the supplies to office supply outlets. This enables the outlets to reduce costs, lower prices and do their part to keep inflation down.

In time, I'll return to trading, when QLGC goes back to 200 and I can recoup some of my losses. My target for QLGC at the time was 500. I miscalculated some triclinium angles because of some cheap wine. I found myself lying head down and feet up on the triclinium. The reasoning part of my brain was shut down and the emotional side took over. I made some serious trading errors as a consequence.

Do you need any staplers with ODD stamped on them? How about message pads? No. 2 pencils?
