<Short selling is an integral part of the market's health. To artificially skew the market by disallowing short selling is to weaken it. >

Baloney. Short selling is just yet another way for pickpockets and other assorted brokerage thieves to tap into somebody else's hard earned and invested money.

Sorry Dudette.

I consider myself a novice trader and realize "irrational market exuberance" should be checked but I also feel "for everything there is a season".

I am glad I did not short during this crisis as a personal choice but feel the fact that the individual investor was somewhat coaxed into not selling and shorting by the pros which to most Americans is somewhat dispicable!

Peace
