BAC has withstood the bear onslaught relatively well, but the recent trend-line break looks serious...my guess is it may attempt to kiss the broken trend-line from below one more time before turning down for good.

What is your theory on the contract guys?

I am in the PCB business, although the volume guys are hurting the small, quick turn shops are doing OK.

These boards then have to be passed on to the assemblers. I know some of the large contract guys are subcotracting alot of the quick turn work because their volume facilities are not efficient at it. I speculate that they will not be assembling in large qty, but maybe getting some premium for the short runs. Obviously they will not be making the $$ on components, but the likes of Samina have paired down their facilities in the PCB side not sure on the assembly side.

I see the industry as turning more short run, new product to get the customer to buy. I am long DDIC a board mfg, specializing in HiTech, quick turn work.
