That would be a good start! Already, the terror attack has caused many people's net worth to decline and put 100's of thousands out of work. On a personal level, my stocks and funds that were doing poorly before the attack now really suck and my daughter has been hit with a $25,000.00 a year pay cut because of low occupancy at the hotel where she works, but at least she wasn't let go like many of her co-workers. A few extra tax dollars a pay check to pay for defense looks real cheap right now!
And, of course, this pales in comparison to the damage done to people's lives who were directly affected by the attack.
