chris - have the SPX data back to 1950. If I remember, silly, but from YHOO. (choose charts, select [max] download [historic] 2 years at a time). Got the Dow back to 1900 also dailies. Don't remember exactly how (data CD's mixed with some .xls on the net and others) but consistent with the charts I see published. If you need them, PM me amemail address, will be glad to send you .csv files if this can help. Also searching for any (very) long term data. <g> Best charts are tjose you mke for your own with your own data series <vbg> EDIT Btw; had to re-install my reources hungry Metastock to keep trace of these charts. Back to historical perspective as most data feeds limit historical charts to 10 years. And that is a completely wrong picture IMHO. You, at least, have to include data from 1982 to get a somewhat unflawed picture.
